Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Contact information: email address (personal, work, vessel); phone number (personal, work, vessel, VOIP); messenger name
  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City, Country
  • User ID and Password
  • Location information
  • Information specific to usage as an Employer: Vessel information (vessel details, company, and contact information; information necessary to post a job
  • Information specific to usage as a Crewmember: Prior employment information, training qualifications and certificates, seaman’s health certificate, other data files, statements or descriptions written about you, personal photos and videos, nationality, passport, date of birth, health information (required for employers to determine your legal employability for a job) and gender (required for employers to determine suitability for sleeping quarters); Information necessary to apply for a job
  • Referral information for others, such as name and email address, is collected when you share your documents, site information, job postings or use the referral/affiliate program within our website. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. We temporarily store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.

We may also collect personal information that you give us during your communication with us regarding our services, such as technical support threads. In addition to the above, we may need to use your personal information for audits and compliance with our legal obligations under applicable law.

Meridian Go LLC strives to prevent unauthorized access to our database; however, we cannot guarantee that unapproved parties will not gain access. Once your crew profile information has been accessed by an employer account user, we cannot guarantee how it is used or stored by that user. We have no control over how third parties who access our database use your profile information.
  • Usage as an Employer:
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
  • With Affiliates:We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.
  • With business partners:  We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions.
