Our story began by accident—with our CEO, Garry Kyle.

Garry’s family loved escaping from Dallas to Fort Lauderdale to enjoy time on their yacht. But every trip came with one headache: finding reliable crew. The process was slow, frustrating, and outdated.

With a background in software, Garry saw an opportunity to bring change to the yachting world. In 2020, he acquired Crew4Yachts—the original yacht crew database founded by Stacy Geddis 14 years earlier—and set out to build something better.

Together with a small, dedicated team, Garry transformed Crew4Yachts into Meridian: a smarter, faster, and more professional way to connect crew and employers.
